Our mission for equal opportunities and social responsibility

Together with PSD Bank West eG and its foundation “VEREINT!” We rely on the unifying power of sport to promote equal opportunities for children and young people and to assume social responsibility. This cooperation makes a significant contribution to supporting the UN's SDG 10, “Less Inequality,” and reducing societal hurdles.

As a reliable partner in the Bonn, Cologne, Aachen, Trier regions and as committed sponsors of children's and youth football, PSD Bank West eG and KOMM MIT are committed to enabling young people to participate in sporting and cultural activities regardless of their social background. The jointly provided funding is intended in particular to benefit children from families with financially limited play spaces so that their children can also participate in KOMM MIT's intercultural sporting events.

Philipp Reinartz, managing director of KOMM MIT, underlines the social significance of this partnership: “With the support of PSD Bank West eG, we can offer more children the opportunity to participate in our international sporting events and thus promote intercultural encounters. This contribution directly benefits teams and associations in our region and strengthens the community. ”

Since its founding, PSD Bank West eG has been committed to strong social responsibility. Together with their foundation “VEREINT! “We would like to further expand these values in cooperation with KOMM MIT and bring about lasting changes." Christian Dorn, member of the PSD Bank West eG Executive Board and managing director of the foundation, explains: “With this cooperation, we are making an active contribution to the development of young people. By providing financial support to associations, we promote sustainable positive developments in sport and in society. ”

The three-year partnership includes not only financial resources, but also close cooperation in the areas of communication and public relations to spread the message of an open and inclusive society through sport. The funding flows to associations and teams in the Aachen, Cologne, Bonn and Trier area and enables them to participate in intercultural sporting events.

This cooperation serves the United Nations Football For The Goals initiative and fulfills SDG 10 “Less Inequality” by promoting equal opportunities and promoting intercultural understanding. In line with KOMM MIT's mission of “ALLTOGETHER — For peaceful togetherness”, PSD Bank West eG and the Foundation VEREINT! come together to encourage children and young people, regardless of their social and cultural origin, to participate in international sporting events with an Olympic character.
