The numerous volunteer youth trainers and supervisors receive a particular focus. Because it is precisely those who offer children the opportunity to exercise and learn important social values through play. We are therefore very grateful to all these volunteers and show great respect for their commitment.

KOMM MIT expresses this on the one hand through the annual invitations to traditional “thank you dinners” — as an appreciation and recognition of the work done in their clubs — during tournament events. In recent decades, KOMM MIT has thanked more than 25,000 youth trainers for their commitment to society.

KOMM MIT has been supporting volunteer work at the grassroots level for years and therefore knows without doubt that worldwide football would not be what it is today without volunteering. Every day, numerous officials get involved to offer children and young people in particular the opportunity to exercise in their free time. In clubs, they learn passing and shooting, experience exciting sporting moments with their teammates and are taught socially relevant values such as fair play and team spirit.

Die Football heroes educational trip is an outstanding project that is carried out annually by KOMM MIT in close cooperation with the German Football Association (DFB).
Every year, we honor committed football heroes and heroines from every football district in Germany. These inspiring personalities will have the opportunity to take part in a unique educational trip to Spain that combines exciting theoretical and practical content. Here, they can not only expand their knowledge, but also make valuable contacts and celebrate their passion for football and volunteering together.
