The JAKO association funding

JAKO and KOMM MIT have set themselves the goal of jointly supporting and promoting children's and youth football through association funding.

JAKO is one of the market leaders in the German team sports business. More than 100,000 teams worldwide wear equipment from the brand from Mulfingen-Hollenbach.

About 300 associations receive sets of jerseys, balls and training equipment per year.

New jerseys for 1,000 grassroots clubs

In 1998, KOMM MIT initiated the “Association Support” campaign and has been providing youth teams at the grassroots level with jerseys every year since then. This funding was endangered due to the ongoing pandemic.

As part of the partnership concluded in 2021, KOMM MIT supports up to 1,000 clubs with jersey sets together with team sports equipment supplier JAKO. The successful cooperation is now being extended, with the aim of providing targeted support to even more grassroots associations!

With this partnership, JAKO and KOMM MIT have now set themselves the goal of working together to support and promote children's and youth football even more strongly. The professional structures of the JAKO dealer network combined with digital solutions (JAKO team shops) allow nationwide coverage of funding and direct contact with associations and teams.

Every team that benefits from association funding receives an additional online shop — the JAKO Team Shop. In it, club members can order the equipment digitally directly and have it conveniently delivered to their home or pick it up from the retailer on site. JAKO and KOMM MIT combine both the motivation to strengthen football at the grassroots level and the same values in corporate management — the issue of sustainability plays a particular role here.
