Telekom Starkick: Deutsche Telekom supports KOMM MIT and other NPOs
On November 17, 2024, the eagerly awaited second edition of Telekom Starkick took place at Telekom Dome, Bonn. The event combines soccer, celebrities and charity in a unique way and delighted everyone involved and the audience.

This year, the legends of FC Bayern Munich, well-known personalities from music and TV as well as influencers and content creators fought for victory again. The atmosphere in the Telekom Dome was electrifying as fans of all ages loudly cheered on their stars. Participants included Roy Makaay, Claudio Pizarro, Giovane Élber, Lúcio, Younes Zarou, laserluca, Pietro Lombardi, Stefano Zarrella and Oliver Pocher.
In four mixed teams, the stars not only fought for victory, but above all for a good cause. Thanks to their commitment, an impressive amount of donations was made, which went equally to four charitable organizations: buntkicktgut, BigShoe, Young Bafana Soccer and KOMM MIT.

KOMM MIT is proud to actively contribute to the achievement of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) as part of the United Nations “Football for the Goals” initiative. The generous donation from Deutsche Telekom supports KOMM MIT in creating more equal opportunities and provides targeted funding SDG 10 — Fewer inequalities. Because with international youth soccer tournaments in Europe, KOMM MIT is creating a platform on which understanding of each other grows through soccer and social barriers are overcome. This opportunity to connect young people from different cultures is invaluable.

The entire KOMM MIT team is overwhelmed by the positive response and enthusiasm we received that day, and we are proud to be part of a passionate community that is committed to building a better future with heart and dedication. Through sport (soccer), we create spaces in which young people get to know each other, learn from each other and build a better future together. We will continue to work for this with full energy and conviction in the future.
Our heartfelt thanks go to Deutsche Telekom! The event was not only a fantastic experience for all viewers, but also a shining example of how charity events can be combined with entertainment and sport.
